Archery Shop in U.K.

My elder sister, Gabrielle Khryss flew to U.K. for her birthday this summer. She pleaded to  Dad and Mom, that she be allowed to visit England and Wales in lieu of having a party for her debut. Well, she got her birthday wish! My parents said that she earned a trip for having good grades for her first year in the university.

Ate Gabrielle at Cardiff University in Wales. She visited Tita Monina, Tito Jerome and cousins in Newport

Before  my “Ate” Gabrielle left, I requested her to look for an archery shop in U.K. and buy some stuff for me. I did not ask for other “pasalubong” (gift) because all I wanted was a new archery bag.  My sister visited Windsor Castle, Hampton Palace, Stonehenge, Bath City and other places before she remembered my request.  Of course, I also kept reminding her about it.

Together with my Tita Winnie, she went to  Quicks Archery Store located at Apps Court  in Surrey, which is near London. The store has an indoor and outdoor range. It sells recurve and compound bows, arrows, quivers, chest guards  to  accessories, among other things.  My sister was able to buy a nice lightweight  backpack  that comes complete with an arrow canister for me. The Hoyt bag was out-of-stock, so she got me an SF backpack instead. She also bought a Hoyt bucket hat and  a bowstringer for me.

How I wish that one day I can shoot my arrows in this Archery Shooting Range

British Pound to Philippine Peso conversion is 1 : 63.25. The rate per hour is pretty expensive. Need to save on my school allowances to be able to practice shoot here... :-)

Extra pasalubong from Ate Gabrielle...

And here's a Lonsdale bag as additional pasalubong...
